I just watched this over at her Facebook page. Tears. Everywhere. Ellen is a beautiful, amazing woman, and I admire her so much it hurts.

Being someone who’s life has been affected tremendously by the effects of bullying, this hit home with me. Please take a second to look at those around you, to look at the way you treat people and the way others are treating people. If you are being bullied or picked on or made to feel worthless, talk to someone, get help, do whatever it is you can to change your situation, this is not your fault, know you are a beautiful person, and know that it can get better for you. It gets better, it does. I moved 3000 miles across the world to get away from the bullying and the taunting I faced throughout my childhood. It wasnt easy for me, and people didn’t believe me at first, I was told I was making a big deal out of nothing, that I was probably just bringing it on myself. It took for my house to get egged and graffitied and a death threat email that found it’s way to my dads inbox instead of mine to make anyone take any notice. But they did. And thank god they did. I dont really talk about this much but you know what, If I can help just one person I will. If you have issues, if you have doubts, if you need someone to talk to my ask box is open, you can email me, you can facebook me, you can IM me you can talk to me and I will listen and I will do all that I can to help you. Don’t let these disgusting people ruin your life. Make a change, stand up and dont be afraid to ask or to tell or to make a scene. Dont let these people rule you and dont let them tell you you’re not beautiful, incredible, intelligent human beings. You are amazing, you deserve to shine.
